TCWT January Blog Chain

Thanks to all who participated in last month’s blog chain and thanks to Allegra for hosting it! It was pretty awesome.

I procrastinated choosing a topic until about now so this idea is more spontaneous than anything and not half as good as last month’s but…. here it goes:

What are examples of books you’ve thrown across the room with force? Why did you throw them?

If you have never thrown a book across the room with force, then describe a couple books that you almost did because you were so furious about a disappointing ending, horrible characters, grammar, etc. I’m sorry if this only applies to me because I have a book in mind that angered me so much I almost threw it out the window. I ended up chucking it against the wall where it nearly missed my lamp but… that’s a story for my post…

So is this topic moderately ok? Do you have any questions about it?

The blog chain will run just as it usually does but I’d like to put another emphasis on commenting on all the posts. I know that I came late to many of you because I’ve been busy (sorry about that) but I’ve noticed only a few people commenting on the wall through. The commenting was strong at first and then it kind of fell apart. If you don’t get to all of the posts that’s okay, but at least comment on the majoriy. Thanks.

The only thing I’m going to add is if you know any other teen bloggers who might be interested in participating who aren’t yet part of the blog chain, please let them know. We’re always looking to expand.

Remember, to enter, all you need to do is comment on this post! Enjoy!

  1. I just want to say that “tome” from http://weirdalocity.wordpress.com/ has already made sure to get the first spot. ;) Tomte, if you are using your other blog for the chain, please correct me now.

  2. I like the idea! It’s actually great. We went from serious back to moderately amusing again–I like it a lot, mostly because numerous books come to mind.

I would like to participate, but is it too nit-picky to ask that I write my post a little later in the month? Like my last turn? Maybe fourth or fifth.

Or whatever. Whatever the rules are.

  3. Yay! Love the topic, though I hate disliking books because people did so much work on them and it’s not fair to them… I should stop being so sensitive. Anyway, can I be the 11th?

  4. Love it! Some books just infuriate me. That’ll be a lot of fun. Count me in!

  5. Love the topic! I’m in of course.

  6. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend this year’s blog chain. It was a stretch to even see this post. I’ve just got too much to do between now and February. I apologize.

  7. Wish a couple of friends had blogs! I know they would like this. Oh, could you send me a list of All the participating blogs????I would like that so I can write that on my post— it is in the making right now. ;)

  8. I’m in, this is an awesome idea!

  9. Can I be in? Any day except the 14th (I’m going to see the Nutcracker, yay!) or the 22nd (my birthday and the reason for going to see the Nutcracker) is fine, as far as I know. I don’t really know what I’m going to write about because I don’t tend to throw books. I don’t like bashing holes in walls. However, I’m sure I’ve got a story of *some* sort!

As for the commenting thing, I lapsed a bit halfway through this time, and then went back today and commented on all the ones I missed (apologies if I did miss anyone out. Just come yell at me and I will certainly call in). December is a bit of a busy month for most people, I think.

  10. I’ll have a go if it’s not too late and if I’m welcome.

  11. How do you get that image of the pen in the background and it says TCWT Blog Chain in red????? I want to get it for my post but have no idea whatsoever how to get it……. other than that, my post is practically done!!! yay!! I hope you all like it =)

  12. OKay, never mind about the getting the button. I found out how to do that.

  13. Is it too late for me to join?
