TCWT September Blog Chain
The August blog chain was yet another great one! I feel bad following up such a fantastic, fun prompt with another of my dull questions about writing. I’ve been traveling quite a lot recently–I’m writing this from a hotel room, in fact–and the dramatically shifting landscape and local culture have put potential settings for new stories on the brain. Since I totally admit to forgetting that I had to set up this month’s blog chain until just now (vacation brain, you know), I jumped on the idea for a theme. This month’s prompt is:
“How much does setting affect your novels and stories? What are some of your favorite ways to portray setting?”

Hrrr… Sounds like a good topic, but I won’t be able to post early September– I’ll still be recovering from August. Whatever you want to give me would be fine. I probably could do something early in the chain, but I’d do better with a slightly later date. Thanks!

An early date for me this time, please! Although school goes back on the 4th so wheneverI get is going to be difficult. But no extra-curricular activities in the first week so that’s probably best.
